JOSE LEWIS CHARLES Graveside services for Jose Lewis Charles of Levelland and formerly of Smyer will be held on Wednesday June 7, at 11:00 a.m. in the City of Smyer cemetery in Smyer Father Jonathan Phillips will officiate.
Jose was born to Angel and Susie Castro Charles on November 23, 1952 in Runge, Texas. He married Maria Jesus Napoles August 19, 1972 in Levelland.
He was a construction worker for 40 years and loved playing the guitar with his brothers and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his spouse of 42 years Maria Jesus Napoles, his father Angel Charles, and two brothers.
He is survived by four daughters Laurie Charles of Levelland, Terry Charles, Leslie Charles and Amanda Bejarno all of Midland, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.
