Wanda Dalton St. Leger passed away July 2, 2023 at the age of 70 in McKinney, Texas. She was born June 10, 1953, in Pampa, Texas, to Kyle Dalton and Ethel Adler Dalton. Wanda graduated from Levelland High School in 1971. She married Daniel R. St. Leger in 1984 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
They first made their home in Levelland, Texas, later moving to Mesquite. Wanda was passionate about her family, friends and faith.
Her greatest blessing was the special love she had for her daughter, Danielle. They were in touch every day. Wanda loved holidays, especially Christmas.
She was a thoughtful giftgiver and delighted in finding that perfect gift, often more than one. She enjoyed going to the beach, trips with “the girls” and RV-ing with her husband. She was an excellent hostess, organizing holiday get-togethers, birthday celebrations and card parties.
She was predeceased by her parents and father-in-law John St. Leger and brother-in-law, Rudy McCallister.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Danielle St.
Leger Lee and husband Kris; sister, Sandra Splawn and husband Ken; sister, Gloria McCallister and numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
