Funeral Services for Jesse Martinez Sr. of Morton, formerly of Levelland will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton, Texas with Father Heriberto Mercado officiating. Interment will follow at the Morton Memorial Cemetry in Morton, Texas.
He was born to Pable and Adlina Garza Martinez on December 24, 1958 in Persall, Texas. He worked in construction for several years until he retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one son Alex Martinez.
He is survived by his spouse of 46 years Maria Franco Martinez of Morton, daughter in law Cassidy Martinez of Levelland, sons Jesse Jr. (Raquel) Martinez of Lubbock, and Adrian Marinelarena of Levelland, one brother, one sister and a host of nephews and nieces.
