Funeral services set for Juaquin Salazar of Levelland, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church on 9th Street in Levelland, Pastor Eddie Chavarria will be officiation. A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland.
Juaquin was born to Efren Sr. and Clelia De Los Santos on July 31, 1964 in Amherst Texas.
He married Juanita Reyna in November of 1984, and four children were born. He worked in the oilfield as a pipeline specialist and inspector for several years. He enjoyed good food and conservation. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his spouse of 40 years Juanita Janie Salazar Reyna of Levelland, three daughters Jessica Perez (Gloria Gonzales) Jellica Meza-Morales and Jausa Salazar, son Isaiah Lopez of San Antonio six sisters and three brothers.
