Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 7 th , 2023from 9:00am until 5:00pm and on Wednesday and Thursday November 8 th and 9 th , 2023 from 9:00am until 5:00pm at Head Durate Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Funeral service will be held on Friday November 10 th , 2023, at 2:00pm at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church of Levelland.
Johnny Joe Cardone Sr. was born on November 12 th , 1958, in Levelland, Texas to Alejandro and Lupe Cardona.
Mr. Cardona married Rosemary Cruz on September 9 th , 1975, in Levelland and they had 3 children from this union. He enjoyed cooking outdoors and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mr. Cardona is proceeded in death by his parents;Alejandro and Lupe Cardona, and his brothers; Alex Cardona Jr., Leroy Cardona and Loy Cardona.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Rosemary Cardona of Levelland Tx; daughter Joann (Hector) Maldonado of Levelland, Tx; sons; Johnny Jr. (Barbara) Cardona, Lucas (Veronica) Cardona both of Levelland, Tx: his 11 grandchildren; his 11 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
