LAURA ANN OCHOA Funeral services were held for Laura Ann Ochoa, 58, whom passed from this life on November 10, 2023 in Lubbock.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland. Officiating was Pastor Camilo Castillo. Music was by the Laura’s sisters. Pianist was Crystal Mott.
Pallbearers included: Paul Estrada, Isreal Lopez, Dave Kapur, Pastor Camilo Castillo, Cody Salazar, Andrew Ochoa and Honorary Pallbearers were: David Rey Kapur and Marcus Vijay Kapur.
Visitations, reflections and celebration of life were held Monday, November 13, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Prayer services were held at 7 p.m. Monday evening.
Laura Ann Ochoa (Grack) was born to Reynado and Rafaela Ochoa Laura graduated from Levelland High School in 1884 and attended South Plains College.
She was blessed with her children, Paul and Ariel. Laura worked as a legal secretary for Jolyn C. Wilkins, Hockley County Justice of the Peace, Girls Town, City of Levelland as a Dispatcher and Levelland ISD.
She was a member of Genesis Baptist Church where she served as the pianist and as Sunday School teacher. Her greatest love was for the Lord, her children and her family. She was a talented musician playing the piano, guitar, and a host of instruments. She loved art, singing, Coffee Club Friday, Sunday gatherings with family, taking drives with her Gal, Ariel and her parents and spending quality time with her kitties “ binxy & Salem”.
Laura will be forever missed but is now in the arms of her Savior.
She is preceded in death by: sister Cynthia Ochoa Villaneva. Her Grandparents: (Paternal) Jose and Guadalupe Ochoa ( Maternal) Alfred & Maria Gonzales Uncles: Robert Ochoa, Sly Ochoa, Raymond Ochoa, and Gabriel Gonzales Aunt: Maria Anthony.
Survivors include: Parents Reynado & Rafaela Ochoa of Levelland. Son: Paul (Lisa Marquez) Estrada of Levelland, Texas. Daughter : Ariel Estrada of Levelland. Sisters: Christina (Israel) Lopez of Levelland, Rachael (Dave) Kapur of Round Rock, Texas, Mary A. (Pastor Camilo) Castillo of Levelland. Nephews: David Rey Kapur, Marcus Vijay Kapur and Robert Torres under the Professional Care Of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland.
