Memorial services for Pilar Contreras, 38

PILARCONTRERAS Pilar Contreras passed from this life on January 2, in Amarillo, Texas.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday January 8, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Officiating services will be Father Jonathan Phillips and music by Tiana Rodriguez.

Pallbearers: Adan Contreras Jr., Ricky Ibarra, Mark Campos, Greg Olivas, Irma Quevedo and Roy Flores. Honorary pallbearer: Denise Ledesma.

Interment will be at City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland. Under the Care of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland.

Visitations and Reflections of Life will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Rosary will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Funeral Home Chapel.

Pilar was born to Adan and Lita Sanchez on May 13, 1985 in Levelland. Pilar Contreras ,was blessed with two daughters who she loved very much. She graduated from Levelland High School and continued her education at South Plains College and graduated with her associate’s degree on Computer Science. Pilar worked for Walmart for over 10 years in electronics dept. Her hobbies were reading novels by author Nora Roberts, spending valuable time with her two daughters watching Anime Japanese animation cartoons, and D.C. and marvel comics movies, baking chocolate cake and fighting with all siblings. Attending St. Michael’s Catholic church services on Saturdays with her family. Pilar shall be greatly missed by her family and friends from her Wal-Mart family co-workers and customers.

She was proceeded in death by Father Adan Contreras Grandparents Lupe and Juanita Sanchez Valentine and Pilar Contreras Nephew Adan Contreras III. Survivors: Mother Lita Sanchez of Levelland. Daughters: Serenity Suarez and Trinity Suarez both Levelland. Sister: Priscilla( Ricky) Ibarra of Levelland. Brother :Adan Jr. (Toni) Contreras of Levelland. Host of a Nephew and Nieces.
