Mary Ann Hodge, 87 passed away from this life on Thursday January 11, surrounded by her family she was a beloved wife, mother , grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed dearly but we rejoice in knowing we will see her again.
Mary Ann was born February 11, 1937 to B.M. and Virginia Short in Avondale AZ. She graduated from Three Way High School in 1955. She met Wilson Hodge of Morton and they were married on March 23, 1956 in Levelland.
Mary Ann Wilson were blessed with three children Deborah (Darrell)Smith of Smyer, Monty(Lisa) Hodge of Levelland and Barry(Jennifer)Hodge of Levelland, eight grandchildren Wade (Amy)Smith of Smyer, Tim (Shovonne)Smith of Levelland, Shayla Ruthardt of Whiteface, Britt Hodge of Redding C.A., Aaron Hodge of Pueblo,C.O, Jayce(Rebecca)Hodge of Lubbock Allison(Hunter) Mcwilliams of Midland and Kelly(Gary)Waters of Shallowwater., Ten great grand childrren: Kelton, Kaden, Paige, Adley and Ryan, Kaleb and
Funeral Services were held for Mary Ann Hodge, 87
Landon, Oakley, Tinley, and Wesley.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Betty Jane Short, two brothers Bobby Short and H.J Short.
Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family talking family trips and the time she spent with Wilson in Ruidoso at their summer home.
Services were held graveside at Morton Cemetery on January 17, at 3 p.m.
