Lee was born to Luis and Lydia Zamora Frescaz on January 3, 1973, in Brownfield.

Lee lived most of his life with a sweet and innocent smile on his face as a testament to the love that he was surrounded with at all times. His smile was contagious to all those who he came in contact with. He enjoyed watching his movies, listening to and singing along with his music, and he loved to watch his football. He loved his time with his family, which he depended on, but he also very much had his own sense of independence. He would quickly and sharply remind you if you stood between him and his “Lee time.”

Although striken with spinal meningitis at the age of two and confined to a wheelchair, it was never viewed as a disability. His condition never prevented him or us from experiencing certain things. It simply made our family experience life in only a way that we could with Lee’s enjoyment in mind. His happiness was always our happiness. We celebrate his life which impacted so many others in a way that made him absolutely unique in this world. Although unable to walk himself, he gave us the incredible ability to walk with an angel daily. He motivated us to continuously strive to be better people to him, each other, and our fellow man. He was a beacon of innocence and purity that we all can only hope to achieve before we join him in paradise with our Lord. Lord, let sadness not overwhelm us as we remember this beautiful soul forevermore. Let us only celebrate the life that he lived and the permanent impact that this beautiful soul ingrained into our very being.

Let the only sadness that remains be in mourning for this world without the presence of this Earthly angel. Yet, let us forever rejoice that this angel, Lee, now remains with the Father and all the loved ones that prepared his journey into the heavens, and that we all may now be blessed with a new guardian angel to watch over us all, protect us, and continue to be the example of love for all of us.
