Santos Hernandez Sr., passed away on Monday, May 27, in Levelland.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, at Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 11a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
Santos was born on February 19, 1938, to Fernando Sr., and Teresa Hernandez in Lytton Spring.
Santos was a long time resident of Levelland, and owned Hernandez Tire Repair Shop for over 40 years. Santos was a hard working man who leaves behind an amazing legacy for his family to remember him by.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando Sr. And Teresa; his wife, Erminia Tello Hernandez; his son, Santos Jr; daughter, Mary Alice Gutierrez.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Thomas Hernandez, Virginia Rodriguez,(Jesus), Recardo Hernandez(Berta), Lorrie Ruiz (Julio), Daniel Hernandez, Teresa Pharis (Chris), Louisa Hernandez and Crstal Hernandez, daughterin- law Maggie Hernandez, son- inlaw, Albert Gutierrez, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
