Tori Jezisek Valverde was born March 11, 1969 in Lubbock, Texas, the second daughter to Patricia (Westmoreland) and Joe Jezisek. She graduated from Levelland High School, and then from Lubbock Christian University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Her family called her a professional student, always finding a class to take and something new to try, whether in school or the latest makeup. She taught in several schools from California to Texas over 17 years; she led Kelley Elementary in Denver City and Seminole Primary as Assistant Principal for a combined 10 years. She was known to be very influential with both students and staff. Her passion was loving kids, especially the ones who had the most struggles.

Tori loved her many friends and was always up for an adventure, ready to pack up and go on a dime. She was funny and known for her wit and beautiful smile. She loved her family fiercely; they were her world, but above all she had fallen in love with Jesus. She was an active member of Transformation Church where she served in children’s ministry, the prayer team, and host teams.
