IRMA GINER RAMIREZ Irma Josefina Giner Ramirez,85, of Morton passed away on August 26, 2024. Funeral services were held at 1:00pm Thursday, August 29 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton. Interment followed in the Morton Memorial Cemetery.
Irma was born in Cd. Camargo, Mexico on July 5, 1939 to Jose and Josefina Ramirez Giner. She married Gregorio Fierro Chaves on February 14, 1974 in Cd. Camargo Chih Mexico. She enjoyed working in her floral garden, cooking wonderful tasting dishes for her family, listening to Mexican music like Trios and Panchos. She attended church services on Sunday, Wednesday and holy days of obligations. She cleaned and cared for the Altar Linens for years at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton where she was a long-time member.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Josefina Giner Ramirez, husband of 21 years Gregorio Fierro Chaves, son Jesus Jose Fierro Giner, six brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra Fierro Giner and Blanca Fierro Giner, both of Cd. Camargo, Chih. Mexico, sons Jose Fierro Giner of Camargo, Chih, Mexico and Gregorio Fierro Giner of Morton, two brothers, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.
