Road work has begun with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) crews tearing out the median on College Avenue. Commuters and community members traveling south on College Avenue are encouraged to find alternative routes as traffic is expected to be congested due to South Plains College being in session, morning and afternoon commutes and the lunch hour traffic.
