Around 6:15 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of West Avenue in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. A report was generated for burglary of a building.
9/17/24 - LEVELLAND
Deputies were dispatched to the 800 block of Veretto Road in reference to a welfare check on a female subject. Upon further investigation, it was determined the female subject was under the influence and an arrest was made for the offense of public intoxication.
9/14/24 - SMYER
Around 6:25 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Cleveland Street in reference to a civil standby. While on enroute, deputies were advised the reporting party needed to report an incident that occurred on September 13. A report was taken for assault causing bodily injury.

Deputies were contacted by phone in reference to a criminal trespass.
9/11/24-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Deputies were dispatched to the 2500 Block of Highway 114 in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. A report was generated for the burglary of a building.
9/8/24-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Deputies were dispatched to FM 300 and FM 303 in reference to a disturbance. An arrest was made for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one, less than one gram.
9/3/24 - SUNDOWN
Deputies with the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office were advised by dispatch to be enroute to the 100 block of Veal Street in Sundown in reference to criminal mischief. A report was made for theft of property between $2,500 and $30,000 and criminal mischief between $750 and $2,500.
