DEBRIS MANAGEMENT - The City of Levelland has been working to dispose of the remaining debris located at the Rail Park adjacent from the Kauffman Addition on Highway 114. The large quantities of debris stem from the May storm that caused major damages throughout Levelland along with dumping non storm related items. Assistant City Manager Joe Cavasos says Republic Services has been taking the debris to either Lubbock’s main dump or their additional dump located in Abernathy. All debris cites located on private property have been cleared of debris or are close to being cleared.
