PRISCILLA PADIERNA
Priscilla Mata Padierna, 90, of Midland, Tx formerly of Whitharral passes away on October 4, 2024. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Cathedral in Lubbock on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Interment will follow in the City of Whitharral Cemetery.
Priscilla was born to Mrs. and Mr. Mata on December 23, 1933 in Mexico. She married Joe L. Padierna in 1955 in Harlingen, Tx. They moved to Whitharral in 1963 and then to Lubbock 1976 where they settled. Priscilla worked for Levi Strauss Co. for ten years and was Supervisor for Southwest Institute for the Blind for five years. Her hobbies were gardening, walking her dog and she was a seamstress. Priscilla was a Guadalupana and Crucita at St. Michle’s Catholic Church in Levelland and Christ the King Cathedral of Lubbock.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mrs. and Mr. Mata, sons Arthur Joe Padierna and Robert Padierna.
She is survived by her daughter Estella (Joe)Lopez of Midland and grandchildren Rose Mia Ramirez, Ava Elle Ramirez and Ezekiel “E.J.” Ramirez. Under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland.
