LINDA CURRNGTON
Linda Faye Currington, 76, of Levelland, TX passed from this life on October 9, 2024 at her residence. Visitation will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, at Krestridge Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church, Levelland, TX officiated by Reverend Lacy McAdams and Teddy Currington. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
Linda was born on February 8, 1948, to Martin Coker Jr. and Faye Allene Coker in Corsicana, TX. In 1965, Linda graduated from Corsicana High School, and on April 9 th , 1971, Linda married the love of her life, Kenneth Currington, who she loved dearly until her passing. She was a devout church member of the Levelland First assembly of God Church for 45 years and worked in the children’s ministry and as custodian for the church for 13 years. Linda was a loving homemaker and babysitter for her grandkids and other children. Linda loved the lord with all of her heart and she loved to witness to people. She was always there for others in need.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Junior Martin and Faye Coker.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Currington; her eldest son, Alan (Misty) Collier of Midland, TX; twin daughters, Traci (Terry) Neal of Levelland, TX and Staci (Brian) Warren of Levelland, TX; her stepchildren, Jeannie Thomas of Lubbock, Chris Sims of Levelland, and David (Kristen) Currington of Houston, TX. Linda is also survived by her 8 grandkids; her sister, Carolyn (Russell) Russell; her niece, Leighann Lewis; her nephew, Dustin Russell; and 2 great nephews along with 1 great niece, and a host of many friends, neighbors, and church family who will miss her dearly. “She was truly loved by her family and will be truly missed. We love you mom, we will see you again soon.”
