The Levelland Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of one man.
Gregorio Nathaniel Mendieta was pronounced dead on the scene after officers responded to a call that a man was lying in the middle of the street just before 2 a.m. Sunday, October 20.
Mendieta was found face down in the middle of the street with a single gunshot wound in the 1700 block of Wilson Street in Levelland.
