The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees will be holding a regular meeting November 13, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building Boardroom.
Agenda items slated for the meeting include: Presentations; Invocation/Pledge of Allegiance; Call to Order; Public Forum; Discuss and consider the adoption of an Order Authorizing the Defeasance and Redemption of a portion of Levelland Independent School District Unlimited Tax Refunding Bonds, Taxable Series 2020; Levying An Ad Valorem Tax in Payment thereof; and Enacting all Matters Incident or Related Thereto; Consent Items: approval of minutes and approval of superintendent credit card charges; Consider the Financial Report;
Consider the safe and supportive school programs teams; Reports from: Levelland Academic Beginnings Center, Capitol Elementary School, South Elementary School, Athletic Department, Bilingual Exception/ ESL Waiver Report, Safety and Security Committee Report, Class Size Ratios Update, TIA Update, Student Fundraising Report, Superintendent Report and Board Report; Personnel: Superintendent Approved Professional New Hires and Personnel Information; Executive Session: If, during the course of the meeting the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session is required, then such closed or executive meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq., will be held by the School Board in such closed or executive meeting concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including, but not limited to the following sections and purposes: Texas Government Code Section: 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.075, 551.076, 551.082,551.083,551.084,551.0821, 551.087; Open Session; and Adjourn.
