The Hockley County Commissioners Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, December 2, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hockley County Courthouse.
Agenda items set for the meeting include: Read for approval the minutes for the regular meeting held on November 18; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through December 2; Hear the monthly Public Assistance Report; Consider and take necessary action to approve the 2023-2025 board members for the Hockley County Historical Commission; Consider and take necessary action to approve the allocation of surplus materials from TxDOT for the 2025 County Assistance Program and participation in the Local Government Assistance Program; Consider and take necessary action to approve conference expenses for Chris Wischkaemper, incoming Sheriff to attend the Sheriffs’ Executive Leadership Academy in San Marcos, Texas scheduled for December 8, 2024 through December 12, 2024 as per Texas Local Government Code 152.907; and Consider and take necessary action to approve the 2025 Calendar designating the day of the week on which court will convene during regular term.
