The City of Smyer Board of Alderman will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, February 6, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Smyer Senior Citizens’ Building located at 224 Lincoln.
Agenda items slated for the meeting include: Announcements; Present and consider minutes of regular meeting of January 9; Order City General Election to be held May 3 for three open seats on the City Council; Consider and take necessary action on resolution for election of city officers; Consider and take necessary action on award of contract for the Water Line Improvements as part of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) DWSRF Project No. 62579 Water System Improvements Project, contingent upon concurrence of the award of the contract by TWDB; Consider and take necessary action on 2025 Interlocal Agreement with Hockley County for Street Maintenance and Fire Service; Approve annual report, includes Capital Improvement and Comprehensive Plan; Consider and take necessary action on building permits; Engineer Report - Colden Rich; Report on Fire Department facilities; Report on Water/Wastewater - facilities; Approve Financial Report; and Adjournment.
