Interment was in the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland. Visitations and reflections of life were On Sunday March 24, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.
Alvelardo was born to Pablo and Maria Rocha Hernandez on January 18, 1948 in Carrizo Springs, Tx.
Lalo, married his best friend Yolanda Garcia, on December 21, 1968 in Levelland.
He worked as a professional truck driver for Key Energy, Standard Oil Co. , Well Co. , Tyson Pump Services, for over 30 years. He was life time member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
He was preceded in death by parents: Pablo and Maria Rocha Hernandez Brother: Pablo Hernandez Jr. Survivors: spouse of 55 years: Yolanda Garcia Hernandez of Levelland Daughters: Glenda (Manuel) Mendez and Patricia Hernandez both of Levelland Sons: Pete (Mirella) Hernandez and Paul (Blanca) Hernandez both of Lubbock Sisters: Cathy (George) Pompa , and Mary Stewart both of Levelland Brother: Juan Hernandez of Kearney, Nebraska and 18 grandchildren: Under the Professional Care of: Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland.
