Christine Carter Landrum passed from this life on April 6, 2025.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Head Duarte Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, April 19, 2025 a Head Duarte Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland.
Christine was born February 2, 1960 in Levelland to James Jr. and Katherine Washington Carter. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1979, she married the love of her life Coleman (Cokey) Landrum Jr. on September 26, 1979.
She worked in management positions in fast food and retail for over 20 years. Her hobbies included listening to music, watching basketball and her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys and talking on the phone to her sister “Tiny” for hours. She loved all her grandchildren. She worshiped at Morning Star House of Prayer in Levelland.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Jr. and Katherine Washington Carter, brother Raymond Lockett and nephew Raymond Lockett Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Coleman (Cokey) Landrum Jr. of Levelland, son Joshua (Crystal Henry)Landrum of Levelland, daughter Chrystal Landrum of Lubbock, sister Bertha “Tiny” Prioleau of Levelland, brother in law Bobby Landrum of Levelland and Henry Prioleau of Sumter SC, grandchildren Destiny Henry, Ashlei Hawkins, Jayden Castillo, Sean Landrum, Emery Landrum, Solace Landrum and Jace Filyaw, great grandchild Symere Ramos, nieces Tina Lockett, Marquita Reed, Valeria Smith and Trinnell Samuel, nephews Deidric Barriere, Ardis Davis Jr. Victor Reed Jr., Henry Prioleau III and Devin Coleman and a host of great nephews and nieces.
