Donna JoAnn Scott Mote passed away peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 11, 2025 at the age of 92.
She was born in Lubbock on Aug. 2, 1933 to Lois and Tater Scott. She moved to Levelland in the early seventies and worked at Cook Memorial Hospital in the accounting department until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Mote; her son, Tommy Joe (Butch) Fisher; and grandson, Trevor Laine Fisher.
She is survived by two sons, Gene David Fisher and Marc L. Fisher. both of Lubbock; and four stepchildren, Cindy Mote Eason, Pam Mote Herring, and Donna Mote Berry, all of Lubbock, and Alan Mote of Levelland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Jan. 31, at Generations Church at 5201 University Ave. in Lubbock, Texas.
