Funeral services for Allene Hope, 87, of Plano, formerly of Levelland, were held November 28, in Plano, under the direction of Allen Family Funeral Options of Plano.
She passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Plano.
Allene was born May 6, 1935, to Richard Lee and Sarah Viola Mayfield Howell, in Anson, Texas.
She married John Derwood Hope, Sr. February 18, 1951.
Allene was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Derwood Hope; a daughter, Rebecca Gaye Hope; and a sonin- law, Terry Buford; and five siblings.
She is survived by her children: John Derwood Hope, and wife, Bette, Brenda Dahlberg and husband, Richard and Cathy Buford; sister, Ramona Jane Davis and husband, James; eight grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
