Erasmo Castillo,60, of Anton went home to be with the Lord on November 20 , 2024 in Anton, Texas. Visitations was held Tuesday November 26, 2024 from 4:00pm to until 9:00pm and Wednesday November 27 , 2024 from 9:00am to until 9:00pm at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, Texas. Funeral services were held Friday, November 29 , 2024 at 10:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Anton, Texas.
Erasmo was born on February 16 , 1946 in San Juan, Texas to Genaro and San Juanita Garcia Castillo. He moved to Anton from Pharr, Texas in his younger years. He married Maria Gonzales on February 14 , 2004 in Anton, Texas and they shared three children from this union. Erasmo was a hard working heavy equipment operator for over 25 years for Allen Butler Construction Company out of Lubbock. His hobbies were working, fishing, going to the flea markets, game rooms, lotto tickets, having a few cold ones, partying, cooking outdoors, for his family and friends, listening to a variety of music, and spending time with his dog “Lightening”.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Genaro and Juanita Castillo; his sisters; Yolanda Castillo, Janie Castillo, and Marie Isabel Cardenas and brothers Genaro Castillo Jr. And Daniel Castillo.
He is survived by his spouse of 20 years, Maria Gonzalez of Anton; his daughters; Ruby Rodriguez and Charity Ann Peralta both of Anton; son; Roy Ozuna of Anton; several grand children and great grand children; his sister; Lila Castillo of Littlefield and his brothers; Salvador Castillo of Anton, Felipe Castillo of Lorenzo and Ricardo Castillo of San Juan, Texas.
