NATALIA CASTILLO
Natalia Castillo, 65, passed from this life on June 17, 2025 in Sundown. A visitation was held at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2025 at St. Michale Catholic Church in Levelland.
Natalia was born April 10, 1960 in Brownfield to Ricardo Sr. and Consuelo Peralez Castillo. She graduated from Sundown High School in 1978 and continued her education at South Plains College where she received her associate’s degree in accounting. She worked for the State of Texas Attorney as a Child Support case manager, and as a custodian at SPC. Her hobbies included working crossword puzzles, playing bingo and trying her luck at the casinos. She enjoyed traveling to Austin, Houston and Nueve Loredo to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Her favorite color was purple, and she was a devoted Catholic and a member of St.
Michael Catholic Church in Levelland. Natalia was a known free spirit, beautiful and caring person with a heart of gold.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ricardo Sr. and Consuelo Peralez Castillo, sister Natalita Castillo, niece Victoria Castillo and nephew Gabriel Castillo.
She is survived by her daughters Martha (Joseph) Perez of Sundown and Maria (Joel) Salazar of Cypress, TX, sons Adalberto Rodriguez Jr., of Lubbock and Juan (Valerie) Rodriguez of Smithville, TX, grandchildren Mailei Rodriguez, Jaxon Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez, Elena Salazar, Zane Perez, Sofia Salazar and Ethan Perez, sister Connie Castillo of Sundown and brothers Ricardo Jr. (Clelia) Castillo and Hilberto Sr. (Eloisa) Castillo both of Sundown.
