Funeral service Antonio “Tony” Morales Delgado, 64, of Levelland, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rosendo Delcampo, Sr. Officiating.
Interment followed in the City of Whiteface Cemetery, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland.
Visitation was held Friday December 16, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, with prayer service held at 7 p.m., Visitation resumed Saturday, December 17, from 9 a.m. until time of service. He passed away December 14, 2022, in Levelland.
Antonio was born August 10, 1958, to Jose Salome Lugo and Rosa Morales Sosa Delgado, in Aldama, Chih, Mexico.
He moved to Whiteface in 1982, and to Levelland in 2010.
Tony married Marisa Hernandez October 7, 1994, in Aldama, Chih, Mexico. They hade two children from this union.
He worked as a farmer and rancher for Bobby and Linda Neal of Whiteface for more than 34 years.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Martin and Manuel Delgado.
He is survived by his spouse of 28 years, Marisa Hernandez Delgado of Levelland; daughter, Jessica (Tony) Johnson of Levelland; son, Ivan (Jenica) Delgado of Midland; brothers: Jesus Delgado and Alberto Delgado, both of Aldama, Chih., Mexico and Francisco Delgado of Fort Worth; sister, Rosa Delgado of Aldama, Chih. Mexico; six grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
