Alma S. Ramirez of Morton, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2025 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held Friday January 17, 2025 at 2:00P.M. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton. Deacon Sergio Vidales will be officiating the service, mucic will be by Johnny Vasquez. Interment will be held at the Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton. Rosary will be held on Thursday January 16, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton. Viewing and reflections of life will be held on Thursday January 16, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. at St Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton.
Alma was born to Fidel and Concepcion Salinas Cano on September 16, 1943 in Nevo Leon, Mx. Alma Salinas Cano moved to Morton from Nevo Leon, Mx. She married Aldofo Ramirez in May 1979 in Morton and they shared six children from this union.
She was very creative making floral arrangements, listening to her spanish music, cooking for her family, taking care of her plants, yard and garden, taking care of grandchildren, going to bingo with her lady friends and going to church at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Fidel and Concepcion Salinas Cano.
She is survived by her spouse of 45 years Aldofo Ramirez of Morton; Daughters: Idelma Gonzalez of Lubbock, Maria Hinojos of Morton, Alma Delia Salinas of Roswell, N.M.: Sons: Roel Barrera of Mexico, Leobardo Toscano of Frederickburg, Texas and Mark Anthony Ramirez of Morton: 4 Sisters and 3 Brothers. Alma leaves behind to cherish 17 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.
