ANDRES HUERTA Andres “Andy” Martinez Huerta of Levelland and formerly of Bledsoe went to be with our Lord on Apil 2, 2025. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at Head Duarte Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
Andy was born on March 14, 1949 in Artesia NM to Luis and Juanita Martinez Huerta. He married the love of his life Frances Sepulbeda on September 14, 1966 in Morton. They moved to Levelland in 1997, and he worked as a farmer and rancher for several years. His hobbies included fishing, traveling to Colorado, watching Westerns and Mexican moves, listening so Spanish music and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Juanita Martinez Huerta and sister Ramona (Pedro) Rodriguez.
He is survived by his spouse of 58 years, Frances Huerta of Levelland, daughters Lucy (Johnny Joe) and Susie (David) both of Levelland, sons Rudy Huerta of Lamesa and Andrew Huerta of Levelland, 10 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, four sisters, one brother and a host of nephews and nieces.
