Carlos Solano,68,of Levelland passed from this life on September 23, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
He was born July 14, 1955 to Lucio and Belia Solano. Carlos had 3 brothers, Lucio Jr., Oscar and Richard; and 3 sisters, Aida, Nora and Elsa. He married Mary Montez on September 7, 1979 and had son, Matthew, the following year.
Carlos retired from Armes & Rawls Equipment in 2017 after 40 plus years as a diesel mechanic.
He lived his life to the fullest and had many hobbies which included camping, fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Carlos was very proficient with power tools and an avid DIYer and craftman Carlos leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Mary; his only son, Matthew and wife Monica; the love of his life, Lucia, his granddaughter; along with a host of family and friends that cherish his memory.
