Celia Cardenas Balboa, 94, of Levelland passed from this life on August 11, 2024. Celia was born to Antonio C and Frances Juarez Cardenes on November 14, 1949 in Brownwood Texas.
Celia attended school in Brownwood, Texas and during her younger years she was a homemaker. She was a blessed mother of two children. Her hobbies included watching Novellas, cooking, and taking care of her plants. Celia enjoyed reading her bible and going to church on Sundays.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren Celia is preceded in death by her parents Antonio C. and Frances Juarez Cardenes and two grandsons Nichalos Balboa and Gregorio Balboa.
She is survived by her sons Jose Antonio (Patricia) Balboa of Levelland and Hector (Tammy) Balboa of Houston, brother David J. (Alice) Carenes, two grandchildren Veronica and Victoria and six great grand children Briana, Fabian, Natalie, Alina, Artemio and Trinidad.
Family visitation will be held Sunday, August 18 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19 at 10:00 am at Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland.
