Isabel Marie Fraire passed away on August 19, 2024 in Levelland. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.
Isabel was born to Guadalupe Perez Guerra on May 18, 1957 in Mercedes TX. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1974. She married Juan Fraire Sr., on December 24, 1976 in Levelland and they had two children from this union.
Isable owned and operated her own daycare for ten years and worked for Walmart Supercenter for over 15 years as a customer service representative. Known by her customers as the Walmart “Candy Lady” Her hopes included reading mystery murder novels, taking care of her floral garden, talking to her sisters daily over the phone, baking and experimenting with recipes from Pinterest. She loved a chicken sandwich from Burger King on her way to Lobo Lake with her grandchildren. Her favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. Isable was a lifelong member of St. Michale’s Church in Levelland.
She is preceded in death by her mother, husband Juan Fraire Sr., son Juan Fraire Jr. and sister Rosa Salazar.
She is survived by her daughter Katrina (Carlos) Lope of Levelland, four sisters, four grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of nephews and nieces.
