JAY TIPTON
Jay Tipton, 68, of Levelland passed from this life on February 1,2025 in Levelland. Graveside Services were held on Friday, February 7, 2025 in the Clifton Memorial Park Cemetery in Clifton, Texas.
Jay was born February 27,1956 in Yorktown, Texas to Edward Tipton Jr. and Gwen Whitt Tipton. He grew up in both Roswell and Odessa as the son of a football coach. He married Linda West on October 14, 1983 in Odessa. Jay was involved in accident at the Sundown Gas Plant that left him disabled due to chlorine gas expose. Jay lived a simple life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Trey Tipton.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Tipton and sons, Jay E. and Thomas Tipton.
