Graveside services for Marjorie A. Willmon, 97, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 9, at the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home of Levelland.
She passed away December 5, 2022.
Marjorie was born March 19, 1925, to Thomas Jefferson and Ava Adaline Randolph, in Knox County, Texas.
She was the second oldest of 16 children. She was raised on a farm in Afton, Texas and graduated from Patton Springs High School.
Marjorie married J.C. Willmon November 22, 1942. They moved to Levelland in 1951.
She was the office manager for her husband’s clinic for many years.
Marjorie was a member of Primitive Baptist Church.
She was a quilter and an active member of the Hockley County Senior Citizens.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Dr. J.C. Willmon.
She is survived by her children: Joann Johnson and husband, Ike, Wayne Willmon and wife, Kay and Kenny Willmon and wife, Debbie; 13 grandchildren; and several greatand great-great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Willmon Family Scholarship at South Plains College.
