Jesus Carmelo Rodriguez Gonzalez, 45 formally of Lubbock. Jesus was called home to be with our Lord on Saturday April 27 in Odessa, Texas.
Memorial services will be held on Friday May 3, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Officiating will be by Rev. Jonathan Phillip. Music will be by Johnny Vasquez. Interment to be announced at a further time. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Reflections of life will be held Thursday May 26 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.
Jesus was born on July 16, 1978 to Dimas Rodriguez Romero and Maria Del Carmen in Altar Sonora, Mexico.
He married the love of his life Luci Peralta Aguilar, on May 4, 2001 in Tucson, Arizona and they have five children from this union. Jesus Carmelo and his family moved to Levelland in 2013 from Tucson, Arizona, then located to Lubbock in 2014 and have been there ever since. Jesus, worked for Triple C Oil Service out of Odessa, Tx for several years as professional truck driver. His hobbies were going to the park with the family, cooking delicious meals , listening to Spanish music and 80’s Rock music, traveling on vacation with his family to Arizona, he worked hard, watching paratroopers parachuting from the planes airborne and watching the variety of hot air balloons during the festivals in New Mexico. Jesus, passion was his family spending all the valuable time he could with them .
He was a Catholic and a member of Our of Guadalupe in Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his parents Dimas Rodriguez Romero and Maria Del Carmen Survivors: Spouse of 23 years Luci Peralta Aguilar of Lubbock daughter Cinthia Liliana Rodriguez (Dominic) Dillard of Lubbock sons Jesus Rodriguez Aguilar, Andres Rodriguez Aguilar, Arturo Rodriguez Aguilar ,and Allan Rodriguez Aguilar all four of Lubbock Grandson: Lincoln Daniel Dillard of Lubbock sisters six Guadalupe Rodriquez Gonzalez of Lubbock, Rosaura Rodriguez Gonzalez and Irma Rodriguez Gonzalez both of Hobbs, New Mexico, Leticia Rodriguez Gonzalez, Sandra Rodriguez Gonzalez, and Amaro Rodriguez Gonzalez all three of Tucson, Arizona brother Carlos (Martha) Rodriguez Gonzalez of Levelland.
