LOUANN EATHERLY CRAWLEY
Graveside services for Lou Ann Crawley, 92, of Lubbock formerly of Levelland, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, at City of Levelland Cemetery, with Dennis Cates officiating, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland.
She passed away November 20, 2022, in Lubbock.
Lou Ann Eatherly was born October 24, 1930, William and Sybil Eatherly, in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Lou Ann was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother.
Her family moved to Levelland in the 1940’s from Oklahoma by way of Tyler, Texas, and she graduated from Levelland High School in 1948.
Lou Ann married Edward Crawley in 1950 and they had two sons.
She worked as a cashier for Levelland State Bank, as a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and she was a homemaker.
Lou Ann was very involved with her church in a variety of activities, volunteered in the local community, cared for all of her family members and loved them very much.
She was an avid volunteer with the Marigolds, Meals on Wheels and was involved in helping the Levelland Chamber of Commerce, from whom she received a Lifetime Achievement award.
Lou Ann was a pet owner her entire life and lovingly doted on her dogs and cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sybil Eatherly; spouse, Edward Crawley; two sons, Mark Crawley and David Crawley; and a greatgrandson, Kaleb Crawley.
Lou Ann is survived by her sister, Mary Beth Richards of Cornville, Texas; three grandsons: Austin Crawley of Temple, Travis Crawley of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Nash Crawley of Lubbock; one granddaughter, Sarah Davis of Chandler, Arizona; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers include: Travis Crawley, Austin Crawley, Nash Crawley, Todd Davis, Bryson Crawley and Matt Peck.
