On Jan. 18, 2026, Melba Faye McDermett peacefully passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Melba was born Jan. 21, 1936. Her memorial service was held at Monterey Church Of Christ in Lubbock Texas on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m.
She will be in interred at the City of Levelland Cementery on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 4 p.m.
