Funeral services for Mario Baeza Guillen, 50, of Levelland, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Jonathan Phillips officiating.
Internment followed in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland.
Visitation was held Monday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 6, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel, with the reciting of the rosary held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Visitation resumed Wednesday, December 7, at 9 a.m. until time of service at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland He passed away December 3, 2022, in Lubbock.
Mario was born August 15, 1972, to Domingo and Cecila Baeza Guillen, in Morton.
He graduated from Three Way High School, Class of ‘91.
Mario worked as a Customer Service Technician for Windstream for more than 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Guillen and a granddaughter, Chloe Guillen.
He is survived by his parents; son, Mario Alberto (Cynthia) Guillen; daughter, Marisa Guillen; and sister, Malisa Guillen Cortez, all of Levelland; brothers, Saul Guillen of Canyon and Efrain (Barrett) Guillen of Spring; two grandchildren, Noah Guillen and Sophia Guillen; three nephews: Elijah Guilleln, Isiah Cortez, Jonah Guillen; two nieces: Jasmine Guillen and Gabi Guillen.
