Mary Frances Ford Albright, born January 8, 1933, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ December 6, 2022.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, at Krestridge Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15, at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her spouse of 48 years, Ira Dale Albright; two grandchildren, Tori DeAnn Albright and John David Reynolds; and two brothers, Frank Ford and William “Bill” Ford.

Mary leaves behind loving daughters and a son: Valerie Reynolds and husband, John, Travis Albright and wife, Cindy, and Susan Elsenbrock and husband, David; five grandchildren, Leah Reynolds and husband, Stephen, Jessica Young, Tate Albright and wife, Keleigh, Cole Elsenbrock and wife, Anne Marie, and Haley Brown and husband, Bryce; seven great- grandchildren: Madison Reynolds, Marshall Allbritton, Reese Albright, Emma Elsenbrock, Kendall Allbritton, Elliott Elsenbrock and Briggs Albright; and sisters, Margaret Norman and Glenna Smyer and husband, Larry; and sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Ford.

Mary was born in Butler, Oklahoma, January 8, 1933, to William Dennis and Verda Frances Anderson Freeman Ford.

She grew up in Morton, where she attended Lehman and graduated from Morton High School.

Mary continued her education and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Education in school counseling.

She married Ira Dale Albright December 23, 1955, and they had three children.

Mary enjoyed a career in education spanning 31 years. She taught home economics, second grade and finished her career as an elementary school counselor.

Mary began teaching in Texas and also taught in Arizona and California, before moving back to Levelland in 1969.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was involved in many clubs.

Mary volunteered for Covenant Hospital, Lioness International Club, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Retired Teachers Association and she enjoyed delivering Christmas presents to children through the Children’s Protective Services.

Mary was a member of the Levelland First Baptist Church.

She spent the past six years living in Kingwood, Texas, near her daughters.

In lieu of flowers, donations to purchase library books for Levelland Middle School, may be made in memory of Mary, to 1402 E. Ellis St., Levelland, Texas 79336.
