Emil Lee Van Zandt, 96, of Levelland, TX passed away on December 22, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1928, to Numa G. Van Zandt and Daisy May Allsup in Willow, OK. He Married Martha June De Smet on June 3, 1951, in Clovis, New Mexico.
Emil served in the Navy,Army, and Air Force beginning at 16 years of age. He worked in the Logging industry in New Mexico and then transferred into driving trucks. He worked in the oil field as a hot oil driver. He lived in Levelland with his wife and four kids.
He is survived by his beloved wife Martha Van Zandt, his four children; Mike Van Zandt of Levelland, TX, Tammy Alford of Gilmer, TX, Eddie Van Zandt of Levelland, TX, Michelle Van Zandt of Levelland, TX; and Granddaughter Victoria McBride.
A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
