Dorothy Jean Stark, passed away Saturday July 1, 2023 in Albuquerque New Mexico. Dorothy was born August 13th 1931 in Bailey County Texas to Jesse and Eva Murrah. She married the love of her life, Wayne Stark February 2nd 1951. They met in business college in Plainview Texas. They were blessed with their son Otis Stark on February 8th 1952. She worked the majority of her life as a secretary at Cactus Drive Church of Christ. She loved going into work everyday because the church was always part of her family. One of her favorite memories was a trip to scotland gifted to her by the Cactus Drive for her years of service. In her spare time she loved to go camping with her family and friends. She cherished spending time with her family no matter the occasion.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Eva Murrah, her husband Wayne Stark, brothers Gordon Murrah Dalton Murrah Claudis Murrah, AL Murrah, her sister Jereen Murrah.
She is survived by her son Otis Stark and his wife Kim Stark, her grandchildren Kori Stark and Dustie Stark-Atkinson and her husband David Atkinson, and her great grand children Delyla Stark, and Dooley Atkinson, and her brother Jesse Murrah Her memorial service will be held Friday July 14, 2023 at Cactus Drive Church Of Christ, in Levelland at 10:00am
