Joe Daniel Perez, 56 of Levelland formally of Seagraves. Passed from this life on May 21, in Levelland.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday May 28 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Levelland. Officiating will be Pastor Phil McClendon. Music will be by Church Choir.
Joe was born to Jose Gonzales and Maria Luisa Salazar Perez on September 25, 1967 in Littlefield.
Joe Daniel Perez , graduated from High School in Seagraves in 1989 and continued his education as Correctional Officer for TDCJ and also for the state of New Mexico Prison. He married the love of his life Olga Porras on May 22, 2014 in Seagraves they shared seven children from this union.
He also had received his CNA certification as well. His hobbies were fishing, camping, traveling, eating out and cooking out doors for his family. He enjoyed bull riding, bronco horse riding, with the ABC Rodeo was awarded a Belt Buckle and jacket, riding the rodeo circuit “Lane Frost”, and training horses. Joe, liked watching the WWF wrestling on television, Dallas Cowboys.
He was proceeded in death by his father Joe D. Perez and daughter Rosephony Perez. Survivors are spouse Olga Porras Perez of Levelland his mother Maria Luisa Salazar of Seagraves. Daughters Desiree Bolanos of Lubbock, and Margarita Cruz and Daniella Marie Perez both of Denver City and Vanessa Montemayor of Dallas. Sons Miguel Angel Mendoza of Lubbock and J.J. Perez of Denver City. Grandchildren Maddie Ewing, Brandon Ewing, Elyanna Ewing, Emmaline Montemayor, Dakota Montemayor, Miguel Mendoza Jr. and Elias Mendoza sister Chrystal Perez of Lubbock. Brothers Christopher Perez and Lupe Martinez both of Seagraves.
