MARIA TORRES
Maria C. Torres passed away from this life on March 16, in Levelland. Memorial service will be held on Thursday March 21, at 2 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Chapel in Levelland. Officiating services will be Kay Torres. Interment to be announced at a later date. Maria was born to Antonio and Frances Cisneros Torres on May 7, 1950 in Meadow, Texas.
Maria, Joined the United States Army where she served two years active duty and the rest in the reserves.
She graduated from university with a master’s degree in Drafting Engineer and Commercial Arts. Maria’s, hobbies were drawing, Artwork, reading a variety of books, liked traveling to Cancun, Mx. Jamica, Canada and Ruidoso, N.M. She loved her animals. Maria, had a special love for all of her nephews and nieces and her family. Every year for Christmas she would buy her nieces and nephews several things.

Brothers: Alex Torres of Midland, Leo Torres and Larry Torres both of Levelland. A host of nieces and nephews. Under the care of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland.
