Mr. Hector Gomez Garza, 62 of Levelland went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on April 8 , in Levelland. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 12, at 2 pm. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Officiating will be Rev. Jonathan Phillip. Music will be by Joe Flores. Interment will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland. Pallbearers will be Javier Garza, Juvenal Salinas III., Anthony Vasquez, Richard Hignojos, Noe Rodriguez, Robert Garza. Visitations and reflections of life will be held Thursday April 11. from 9a.m. until 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Rosary will be held Thursday April 11, at 7p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Hector was born to Anita (Juvenal Jr. ) Salinas and Juan (Delia) Garza on October 16, 1961 in Slaton.
Hector, was a professional welder self employed and worked contract for different Oil Companies in Levelland. He was married to Rosa Gonzales in 2003 until her passing . He moved to Levelland in 2000 from Lubbock. His hobbies were working, fishing hunting rabbits during hunting season, dancing, singing, barbequing outdoors on the grill, loved his mama, he was a jokester with all his family and friends and he was a home buddy. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends.
