Deborah Kay Strickland Pigg, 74, of Levelland passed from this life on December 9, 2024. A private memorial will be held.
Deborah was born February 14, 1950 to J.B. and Willie Mae Owens Strickland in Levelland. She married her best friend Coy Wayne Pig on January 5, 1970 in Lovington, New Mexico. She attended Jessie Lee’s Hair Design and Beauty Institute in Lubbock. She received her Cosmetology License in 1970, she loved cutting and styling hair for her friends and family. Deborah was a homemaker and domestic engineer. She enjoyed listening to Christian music and Evangelist Joyce Myers, watching old westerns like Gun Smoke and she loved her three Pomeranians.
She is preceded in death by her parents J.B. and Willie Mae Owens Strickland, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her best friend and companion Rick L. Conder of Levelland, stepdaughters Tammy Shirley (Stacey Redden) and Karen Garrett both of Levelland, stepson Coy Jr. (Lisa) Pigg of Levelland, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
