It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rick Fuller, a devoted father of four, who lost his fight to Parkinson’s at the age of 71 on September 5, 2025.
Rick, born on June 16, 1954 in Brownfield, Texas, was a loving husband, father, and friend, known for his compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and courage that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was a pillar of strength for his family and a guiding light for his children. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and kind spirit touched the lives of all who crossed his path. Rick was a man of integrity and honor, dedicated to providing a loving home and instilling strong values in his children.
Rick worked several jobs throughout his life time, he worked as a truck driver for Western Transport in Tatum, New Mexico, oilfield worker for Dowel in Macamey, Texas. He also worked as a farm hand for Lloyd Allusp, from there he became a maintenance man at the Bledsoe School before it closed in 1997. Rick moved to Road maintenance for Cochran County and finally oil transport driver for Sentinel Transport.
In Rick’s spare time he enjoyed going hunting or fishing, which he was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and the camaraderie that came with hanging out with his biker buddies.
He is preceded in death by his mother Venida Redman, his father George Fuller and a daughter Leah Pickering.
Rick is survived by his wife Jeanette Fuller, four daughters Nan (Buddy) Miller, Amanda (Brandon) Walters, and Denise Fuller. Two sisters Brenda Kessler and Shirley Kindred. Twelve Grandchildren Bryce (Harleigh), Emily, Sya, Olivia, Brook’Lyn, Karmen, Jaedan, Hannah, Zane, Kamryn, Kaislyn and Fredrick. Along with a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers or arrangements that a donation be made in Rick’s honor to the Parkinson’s Foundation or St. Judes which was one of his favorite foundations.
