James Gilbert Pickering of Whiteface passed on November 7, 2024. Interment to be announced at a later date.
James was born in East Grand Plains, New Mexico to Russell Henry and Ruby Lee Downs Pickering.
He served in the United States Army in 1951 during the Korean War era as a PFC. He married Gloria Hamather. His hobbies were working on cars and wood carpentry. He enjoyed watching Westerns, reading his bible, camping, fishing and hunting. He loved the great outdoors in the mountains of New Mexico. James loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
