Shannon Grady, age 30, of Lubbock joined his mother in Heaven on December 6.
Shannon was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on October 27, 1993, to Eric and Dawn Grady. He was highly intelligent and graduated sixth in his class from Levelland High School in 2012. He attended Lubbock Cooper High School for most of his life, where he excelled in academics and played football and basketball.
Shannon married Rebecca Campbell in 2014 and became the proud father of Brinkley Dawn Grady, who he loved more than anything else in the world. He was loved by a large family and close friends. He will be deeply missed.
Shannon was preceded in death by his mother, Dawn White, an uncle, Paul VanOstrand, and a baby brother, Connor Grady.
He is survived by his daughter, Brinkley Dawn Grady, of Lubbock, his father, Eric Grady of Crosbyton, a brother, John Grady of Lubbock, a sister, Lauren Howard and husband Jason of Flagstaff, Arizona, his Grandmother Martha Tubbs of Levelland and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 15, at 1p.m., at Grace Chapel, in Hillcrest Funeral Home 1305 Phelps Ave., Littlefield, TX 79339. Donation of flowers would be greatly appreciated to make this service as beautiful as possible for Brinkley.
