The pair of wins improved the Eagles to 25-5 overall and secured the Bi-District Championship, an effort Ropes Head Baseball Coach Nathan Flores reflected on.

“Our boys played a great series and leaned on each other through both games. Our bottom half of our lineup came through for us and allowed our top half to get back in rhythm,” Coach Flores said. “I was proud of how we played as a team and all aspects of our game complimented each other well. We’ve got a lot of baseball to play and I’m excited for what we can do if we stay true to ourselves and to the game-plan we have moving forward.”

The Eagles return to play this weekend for an Area Round series against West Texas. Game one is on Friday at 6 p.m.; game two is on Saturday at 2 p.m. and if necessary, game three will follow 30 minutes after game two, all of which will be played at Plainview High School.
